The short version

  • Your posts, comments and other content are processed in your own browser and are never sent to us.
  • We never ask for, see or store your passwords.
  • To count free daily removals, we use the email address of your Chrome profile.
  • Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We never see your full card details.
  • We don’t sell your data, show ads or track you across websites.

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Lumenhart ("we", "us"), handles personal information when you use our browser extensions, including Activity Cleaner, or visit lumenhart.com. We are the controller of the personal information described here. For anything about privacy, email support@lumenhart.com.

Your activity on the platforms our extensions work with (for example, your LinkedIn posts, comments and reactions)To show you the items you can remove and to remove the ones you choose. This happens entirely in your browser. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Not applicable, because it never leaves your device

We receive your email, order details and subscription status so we can issue, check and support your license.Performing our contract with you; legal obligations such as tax records
Your license keyWhen you activate Pro, the extension sends the key to our license service to confirm it is valid and to keep track of how many browsers use it. For each browser we keep a random ID, a simple name such as “Chrome on Windows” and when it was last used, so you can see and free up your browsers.Performing our contract with you
Messages you send usTo answer your questions and help with your account. Our legitimate interest in providing support
Basic technical data when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser typeKept briefly by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our legitimate interest in running a secure website

Your settings, daily usage count and license status are also stored locally in your browser, using Chrome’s storage. You can clear them at any time by removing the extension.

3. What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We don’t use advertising or analytics tools in our extensions or on our website.
  • We don’t track you across other websites.
  • We don’t read your messages, connections or profile beyond the type of activity you ask an extension to scan.

Our use of information received through Chrome follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Who we share it with

We only share personal information with the providers we need to run our products, and only for that purpose:

  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, taxes, receipts and refunds under its own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts our website and runs our usage and license services.
  • Resend, which sends our license key emails.
  • Google, which provides the Chrome profile email to the extension and distributes our extensions through the Chrome Web Store.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, where needed, and public authorities when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, as offered by our providers.

6. How long we keep it

  • Chrome profile email for the free plan: for as long as you use the free plan. Ask us and we’ll delete it within 30 days.
  • Purchase and license records: for as long as your license is active, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months after your question is resolved.
  • Website logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider, usually no longer than a few days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you’ve given.

To use any of these rights, email support@lumenhart.com. We’ll reply within one month. If you’re in the UK or the European Economic Area and you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.

If you live in California or another US state with privacy laws, you have similar rights to know, delete and correct your information. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.

8. Security

We keep the information we hold to a minimum and protect it with encryption in transit, access controls and providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

9. Cookies

Our website doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising. Our checkout page loads Paddle’s checkout, which may use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.

10. Children

Our products are not meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
